Our History
In 2022, Jeffrey King, affectionately known as the “King of Memphis,” acquired a flooring business from his supplier, which evolved into King Flooring. A former U.S. Marine and seasoned real estate investor, Jeff brings decades of expertise in building new homes and managing rental properties.
He identified a unique opportunity to transform the Memphis flooring market by eliminating the middleman and providing direct-to-consumer wholesale pricing.

Jeff King is a seasoned professional in the homebuilding industry and the founder of one of the largest homebuilding companies in Memphis, ranked fourth in the area. With extensive experience in constructing homes, Jeff has gained a unique perspective on the essential components that make up a house, particularly flooring. He understands that flooring is a critical part of the overall housing construction system, working in harmony with other elements to create functional and beautiful living spaces. This insight enables his team at King Flooring to deliver tailored solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, ensuring that every flooring choice enhances both the aesthetic and structural integrity of a home.

Aaron King
Aaron King leads our Sales team and brings over 10 years of experience in the renovation industry, capped by 3 years as a construction foreman specializing in new construction homes. Throughout his career, he has personally supervised the installation of hundreds of floors, both in new builds and in projects requiring removal and total flooring replacement. His hands-on expertise and leadership in the field ensure that every flooring project we do meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
